Biting Winds & Sunshine November 30, 2010 by Eddie Pluhar, Samantha Miles, Samantha Parks, and Madeline Knott |
Biting Winds and Sunshine snowflake builds ontop against the biting winds I step lightly pink little mittens pictures on the icy glass eyes still closed to beauty • opening her eyes rising sun crisp white sheets tarnished earrings bells chime final bell • harvest moon the hum of insects against the lights clothes stick sparkling stars our clothes shed bubbling over with worry • springtime fetching the frisbee reeling in crossing a field of stars, rocking back and forth leaping across the room • feeling sorry unspoken promises... behind the old oak tree standing his ground the knife carving pumpkins with his grandson • awkward smiles eyes staring on the wall finding a new way lungs ache for air warmth on my skin gentle breeze • • • |
