Coffee & Apples
by
Keila Hamed Ramos
This was a big semester of change for me. It was one of the hardest lifetime journeys I have ever been on. This collection is an honest assortment of my path through this year. Some things I am not proud of, but believe that they are all (in some sort of way . . . I hope) helping me grow more honest and real. My haiku are mostly unedtied as I wrote them during moments of heightened emotion and I wish to keep that integrity. I have chosen the title as symbolism for the naked and school is just a bunch of coffee and apples.
