from the sea we come and go
writing confessions whispery breath sitting next to bay window though she be in hiding, through the trees and me • running from troubled waters flashback; waters being the other found four strands of blonde there is no truth but why do I have to reinvent • you, a werewolf fur on end your teeth fingers trace your veins blossoming bruises shades of blue and purple • dying ivy even the concrete cracks in the crevices filled to the brim with rain come, collect drops the best soy latte • an elderly man at peace with the past, rewind the hands but still the time slips wonders through phases safe landing • penning a letter muscles rustle lavender and chamomile waking up next to you bed head a message in a bottle; • • •
