the ocean spray warm water the sunlight your warmth our togetherness continuous drive • I wonder what the mouse shares a pause if only God silence unified sound: • the crescent moon brightness bland oatmeal the school bus the white blossoms tidal wave • dripping down who needs an umbrella? the muddy boys a hug and a kiss a dark growl an old tree house: • camping refreshing morning her and I long car ride front headlight out— coming home • we surrender dog at my feet already cocooned phone call constant tapping neither asleep nor awake • • •
