My So-Called Life
by
Rebecca Coulter
Collection Introduction
I would first love to thank you so much for taking the time to read this. It means a lot to me that someone would be interested in indulging themselves in a snippet of my life. That is why I called my collection "My So-Called Life." My haikus never really have a theme, but it is clear that they are very true and describe only reality. I speak from my heart and the experiences I have lived through. With me and my work, there is no hiding.
Reader's Introduction
What I love about Rebecca's haiku are how incredibly down to earth and simple they are. They draw you in because you can easily relate to them, as well as they are just such a cool insight into her world. These haiku are not trying to pretend to be something they are not. They are what they are: intriguing, relatable, and heart warming.
