over the puddle
steam rises

Fireflies flicker
through damp air

Wolves howl
a child cries
at the waning moon

sister adds
new thread to the tapestry

Fresh apple pie
reminds me
of her

worms wriggling
Life in the Rot

Bitten peach moon
lights
ant's last labor

We carry the mountain
crumbs trail behind

The wind whips up
a twister of
rose petals

Perfume of the affair
blame tears on the breeze

Comfy bed
engulfs my body
depression sets in

No motivation
to see eye to eye

Dead trees
lit
by a pale moon

Shrew shimmies off
echoes of hibernation

Spring awakens
the ground hog rises
to the beautiful blossoms

Returning to the den
a chill in the air
