1

blind soggy feet
over the garden wall
a quiet sob

2

flying across the room
in a shimmering dance
all pointed toes

3

sunset steps out
your taut face
in the doorframe

can we not see
forget-me-nots

that for the first time
finally felt free

o father
happily clonking along
the rust settles on red

92

waking up sore
a reminder
of just how strong you are

93

dancing in the rain
to show my brother
it’s not so scary

94

shu-ffle-ball-change
if I tap dance
I’ll reach my step goal

95

knees to chest
a rocking fetal position
comfort to abs

96

the instructor moves
like a graceful swan
you expect me to bend like that?
