my younger self was quiet
my older self observes
my own yin-yang

comfy bed and pillow
silky light purple sheets
grandma’s cuddles . . .

one person 
     one plate . . .
          shatters

dark and foggy . . .
dead people in cemetery 
trying to recreate the MJ album

dress up as a clown 
enjoyment to laughter—
“Mom! I made a kid cry!”
