rose petals
drift away
she lets go of his hand |
|
|
the rabbit spppprrinttsss
towards the finish line
it never comes |
off to dreamland
thoughts driftly
tenderly through the rain |
|
|
boxing ring
words fly back and forth
between two conflicted hearts |
a little girl
tugs at her
mother’s dress
waiting for the
parade that never comes |
|
|
flower baskets
her hands
crippled with arthritis |
the kitten nibbles
at fingertips
a total stranger |
