Unexpected Growth
by
Charly Warlow
Taking global haiku with Dr. Brooks, pushed me outside of my comfort zone in many ways. Starting off I had no experience with haiku and never saw myself writing or analyzing poetry. I chose the title Unexpected Growth because I experienced growth that I never expected to experience during college. This course pushed me beyond limits that I didn’t think I had and for that I am truly thankful. Haiku has really spoke to me and I look forward to reading and writing more as I continue tackling life. |
