I really enjoy it. It so simply explains how I feel about my drawings right now. This haiku has many levels of meaning for me. The trees are tall and bare reaching for the heavens which means so much to my personal life. Michelle

I enjoyed both of these Haiku because fall is my favorite season and Halloween is my favorite holiday. The first one reminds me of a time my mom took me trick or treating and the weather was freezing. I was a clown, but it was so cold that my mom put me in snow boots and a winter jacket so you couldn't even see my costume. The second haiku reminds me of the numerous bonfires we had at my house growing up. My family was big into Halloween so we would roast marshmallows and take turns telling ghost stories. Bethany

The have been best friends
since childhood; elementary through high school they have shared laughs and secrets. These friends have played sports together, double dated together, and went off to college together. They have celebrated birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries; seen babies born and comforted each other through deaths. Now considered senior citizens at the fun age of 76 they still enjoy their favorite past time, tea and good conversation. Sonja

I enjoyed this pair because they instill the view of a child as things never grow old. We would always play the same games and have a fun time doing it. The first is a great fall haiku as kids would play games till dusk in the local neighborhoods and them some when the streets light came on. The second has a sense of autumn when it starts to get chilly and muggy out so they’re inside on the electronics and kids when kids love something they watch the same thing over and over and over again.
