Mind in a Nutshell

by
Zachary Dilbeck

This collection is dedicated to myself as I have made the journey to finish school. This collection of haiku is all that just came to my mind. As a first-time student taking a haiku class, it has really opened my mind on things in life. After reading other Haiku and getting ideas, it made it easier on how to write your own. My name is Zach Dilbeck and I am a junior at Millikin University in the OL cohort. I was born and raised in Decatur, IL. I have two older siblings who live in town as well two nephews. Sports have always been a big part of my life, which is why I write a lot of my haiku about them.
