I really love this Haiku because it makes me think of my niece on Christmas morning. She wakes up and runs to the windows to see if there are boot marks in the snow from Santa which my brother places on the front lawn every year to keep the illusion alive. So every time it snows on Christmas he makes it extra special. So imagine little Callie running to the window in hope of seeing Santa as her little brother trails close behind. Lisa

The simplicity of the visual is perfect as well as the idea of a dreamer and his/her thoughts on the world itself. The world is an evil place and it’s almost every thinker’s dream to the idea of someone saving the world. Hannah

Hannah Woolard

I really enjoy this Haiku because it describes how the girl feels about her sisters which makes me think of sorority sisters and the close bond they have. When someone is in trouble everyone puts everything on hold to help them no one is left behind. They treat each other like family. So even though this person may be having a wonderful night at home when a sister calls and need to help you go without question. Lisa

This haiku reminds me of some form of movie. Its intimate and the reader can think back to previous experiences with love. In all honesty it sounds like something that comes straight out of a Nicholas Sparks movie. Hannah

I really like this Haiku because it reminds me of beautiful summer evenings it makes a wonderful visual in my head of first loves and summer romances. I think of a beautiful summer night a girl all dressed up ready to meet her blind date really nervous for him to show up and he is exactly what she dreamed about. They go out to a movie and dinner a night to remember. Lisa
