First Snow
by
Aesha Bunch
The title of my collection is called "First Snow". I chose this as my title because it was my best haiku. Most of my haiku I have written are about past experiences and seasons. I wrote a lot about summer because it is my favorite season and there is so much things to-do. |
first snow—
the little girl runs
to the front window |
|
|
a box in the attic
covered in dust
a beautiful gown |
looking at his arms
muscles as big
as my head |
|
|
spring breeze
the little girl pedals faster
down the sidewalk |
bright blue water
I look through my goggles
a fish stares at me |
|
|
spring evening
I ask a gypsy in a carriage
about my future |
looking up
the star filled sky
seems so far away |
|
|
moon light—
sitting by the fire
he falls out of his chair
|
big waves come our way
I fall out
of the inner tube |
