I found writing haiku can be fun, the easiest thing I have to write on is past experiences or favorite things to do. I hope my haiku trigger friendly emotions and fond memories. |
school play ground
the little boy
kissed the chattering girl |

|
fire crackling
wine bottle half empty
she finishes it off |
hot
and sweaty
na ma stay |
|
|
ring of salt
slice of lime
margaritas our poison |
faith trust pixie dust
she tries to fly
succeeding |
|
|
pink sparkles
in her hair
bath water running |
rustling of leaves
Lincoln statue illuminates the campus
in the moonlight |

|
clear water
white sands
the bartender opens the tiki hut |
amber liquid
two ice cubes
he forgets his name |
