Princess Polar Bear

When writing my Haiku, I wanted to write about the most extraordinary people on ordinary days in an everyday paradise. I love to create Haikus that evoke feelings of love, compassion, and laughter. |
eating celery
the cupcake talks |
|
|
curtains rise
music plays
the sound of point shoes |
summer breeze
mist from a child;s squirt gun
falls in my drink |
|
|
our morning walk
the dog piddles
on a neighbor's rose |
red hair flows
she draws back her arrow
she hits the target |
|
|
cold wind blows
a winter wind fills the air
the cold never bothered her anyway
|
ball gowns swish
the elegant princess
kisses the young boys cheek |
|
|
running to tell him
I love you
he turns the other cheek |
I fall into his arms
I see his smile
up close for the first time |
|
|
Christmas morning
a beggar asks for money
I empty my pockets |
Summer sun
the flowers peek
from my cousins grave |
|
|
as the polar bear sinks
I wonder
can one person save the world |
