We cheer

hand full of change
corner store
cavities

first year at summer camp
arms around her mother’s waist
a little girl changes her mind

new car scent 
dad cries 
tears of accomplishment

rolling green pastures
mud pies
lovingly scolded by mom

Midnight rain
Wet and cold
Feeling Incomplete

dark and misty moon
wrapped in blankets by the windowsill
we watch them go by 

misty dark halls
red nose clown
teenagers on the run
