a helicopter ride
on top of the world

drained and exhausted
ready to sleep

that door is closed
Slammed. Shut. Locked.
OVER

late night
dirty feet
hide-n-go seek

5.5 hours in the chair
neck is cramped. $150 broker
hair looks good though

6AM
coffee — then front porch
the day has started

sisters play
over hill upon hill
cold snow falling

here at a hotel
in humid air
snoring sleepers

brother gone
silent house
nothing is the same

blizzard all around 
fire crackling 
grandpa begins a tale

voices from downstairs

time to get up

pictures inside
