firey sun
falls into the ocean
glistening bright

the sweet smell of lilacs
lingers for hours
the widow passes

a warm brisk night
sailboat sails in the

shadow of the moon

jelly jar opened
go home, fireflies,
sleep with your family

the lighthouse stands
on jagged edge
smooth sailing

lazy summer day
floating down the river
no care in the world

     Miles and Miles

Miles of scenic highway
Fluffy white pillows
In a background of blue

     Day dreaming of the
     Adventures that await you

Warm sun beaming down
Hair flowing in the breeze
Freedom

     No care in the world
     Destination unknown

Miles and Miles traveled
Evening sets in
Stars twinkle in the night sky

     You—
     Have arrived !
