such is life…
by
Jenny Millikin
Welcome to my Haiku. I have to say that I have struggled with simplifying my words and getting my point across, but have been inspired by the many writers that we have read throughout the course. I have found a way to put my thoughts into words and explain my feelings without any more than three lines, although not perfect most of the time. I have written not only for the course, but have also written for myself during this course. My selections for this book are inspired by my life at the moment and my family. I have been struggling and focus in finding the joy that is in front of me, and I hope that you feel that as you read through my poetry.
