Young Again

by
Amy Harmon

This book is a collection of my favorite haiku from this class. I never thought I would enjoy writing haikus, but they turned out to be fun! Everyone can take in a haiku's meaning differently and that's ok! Please enjoy reading my haiku. I hope they can mean something to you too!

a beat up truck
behind the barn
wild flowers grow

in the middle of the lake
a kayak sits
. . . still

shattered glass
on the pavement
sirens in the distance

putting on ski's
maybe this time
I'll get up

swinging at the park
suddenly I feel
young again

firework show
I sit on a blanket
with him . . .
