Reflections of Me
by
Emily Green
Haiku is something I have grown to enjoy when I first started taking this class I wasn’t sure how I felt on the subject. I also questioned on how successful I would be in writing a memorable haiku. I soon figured out that using my own personal experiences and memories were a melting pot of ideas to draw from. My most influential muse for writing haiku is my son, he is and always will be the most important person in my life. When I am writing haiku, I try to keep it relatable to the masses. In my opinion that is the sign of a successful haiku. I hope you enjoy my collection of haiku and renga as much as I have enjoyed taking this class and thinking outside the box. |
