Haiku

The approach I have toward writing Haiku is from my Life. I believe that most people connect on that level. As in when someone talks about eggs and bacon being cooked in the morning or the low mournful tone of a sax. We all are connected through the thought, feelings, smell, tastes, and moments we all have the fortunate or unfortunate opportunity to sample life in this fashion.

walking to me
jitters

low mournful tone
eyes clenched
sax tells the story

baby cries in the night
he whispers
my turn

another cake
another candle
another ache

daughter's first date
hug for her
stare for him

hum of
the road
me
