Childhood Memories

Hiaku is a very imaginative way of writing poetry. I found that using your imagination and actual daily events to write haiku was very enjoyable. I enjoyed remembering Christmases and Halloween days when I was younger. I had a wonderful childhood and to express my memories at haiku.


turkey in the oven
table set for
one

 


red, green, blue
blink, blink, blink
s                e
   m  i   l


hand in hand
steps in sync
lake view

 

one blanket
two wine glasses
a whisper in her ear


train on the track
whistle blows
Santa was here
