The haiku in this collection are a random assortment. Many of the haiku relate to my life and reflect my feelings from that time. These haikus were chosen based on the strongest and most influential moments in my life. They are full of both fun and sad times. Writing haiku was challenging and fun. I will miss the time in class dedicated to haiku discussion.

playing outside
no one in sight
she continues to swing

leaves fall like rain
the young girl
dances between the drops

cool night with a full moon
children go door to door
collecting treats

my friend Zyrtec
never leaves myside
especially on hay rides

barren trees
the idea of going out
has lost its charm

one empty chair
everyone gathers to the table
to give thanks

a pair of jeans
faded and torn
but damn, I look good

her tail wags
& ears perk up
Mom's home

Oh Haiku . . .
how you challenge me
you will be missed
