haiku

by
Victoria Brenic

Haiku is a form of expression--a way for an individual to create using all their senses. It helps to make a person become more aware of their surroundings and truly slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. The subjects can range widely; yet the idea is to make the reader relate, feel, and envision their own story for each haiku.

mile after mile
laced up tightly
comfort

memories made
father and son
in an old truck

faded and worn
wiggled on perfectly
can't let go . . .

haunted house
fearfully
I enter first
