Nicole Silverman • Nicole's Haiku

Collage Haiga by Nicole Silverman I made four very different collages on canvases. I used the matching technique we used in class for haiku to match the canvases with haiku that had the same feeling as the collages. For two of the canvases I wrote new haiku and for the other two I matched them with two of my existing haiku. I looked for ways that the haiku overlapped with the images without outright describing them.
