For the comparison from our matching contest, I chose the two haiku above. First of all, they both discuss alcohol and the actions that appear after drinking. They attack actual daily activities that could be considered good or bad by participants and spectators. The authors have done an amazing job at bringing everyday actions into writing. Also, the haiku could be about the same event from different perspectives. I am amazed at the talent of my peers, the entire matching contest was very difficult because of all the great entries.
