Artificially Authentic Crop Circles

spring moon
puddles ripple
on the brick road

feet never stop
flowers

trampling everything
in my path
jogging

a pebble
in my sneaker, slow

the journey resumes
and finds itself
on the moon, itself

senses reeling
passed celestial bodies

bustling
clinks of plates and trays
she sits alone

triple bean burrito
meeting with CEO after lunch

low rumbles…
thunderclouds move
across the sun

smiling
I enjoy the sprinkles
on my face

licking the bowl
getting all the ice cream

complete the meal
autonomy
I call my mom

three seconds later
I get a response
from…on the moon

cool treat
to quench my hunger

the janitor glares
at the kid
that left his trash on the table

jive turkey
suckaz and afros

floating
in my cocktail…
cherry blossom

around me…
the sky motioned in circles

circles swirl together
when the sky pulls down
wind blown hair

newspapers flutter
in the breeze

forgotten…
under a bush
they decay

the system recycles its components
to be renewed

from bones to dust
life is born

raindrops…
the black umbrella
blooms

driving fast
baby wanting out
of its mother’s womb

the rush was like
as wild stampede

anxiety pushes
through my chest
I blush

rose aroma
on the bedside table

cool breeze
from the open window
new moon

after a time
the fire dwindled

left with a chill
in my chest
I pause

fog settles
in the wheat grass valley

driving by
the fox goes
unseen

merely a few more pages
left to read

out the window
cherry blossoms…
the earth’s confetti

all in a day’s
imagination
