Love Haiku

Lindsey Harper is a sophomore nursing student from Monticello Illinois. She finds a lot of her inspiration for writing haikus from her husband. She has thoroughly enjoyed participating in this course.

snowed in together
on valentines day
how lucky

the roses are beautiful
the gifts are great
I only wanted him

snow on the roof
hiding under the covers
heaven
watching movies
together

  

warm night
on the old wooden dock
calm starry water

Lover’s Rendezvous

wild deer
sunset setting low
evening dinner

glasses of wine
relaxation

he dances
with her
by the glistening candlelight

hand in hand
they fall deeper in love

a ring is slipped
on her hand
vows renewed

remembering their
life together.

  

drop of red wine
stains the white linen
harvest moon

calm and relaxing
stars above us
walking in water
