Haiku to Edit 3 - Valentine's Haiku
Global Haiku • Millikin University • Spring 2008
hands clasped crudely-made paper heart |
eyelids we reach |
opening door trying to concentrate |
snowflake lilacs in bloom |
heart beating faster our eyes meet— |
cornering her laughing at candy hearts |
take a nibble... on my desk |
crushes become reality he touches her shoulder |
after Christmas snow Midnight |
one I love the love of my life gifts are |
groundhog clutching my ballot summer night |
The geese rest eight tiny paws summer night |
two years gone Valentine’s Day you smile at me |
giggling girls puffy eyes marinara |
gentle kiss goodnight Smile soft snow |
best friends post-it |
snow reincarnated, stricken with strep throat |
caffeine bareback |
winters chill living and sharing |
all alone wanting him |
Heart beats faster Laying at her side |
one I love the love of my life |
groundhog clutching my ballot |
The geese rest eight tiny paws |
