no boots
the feel of snow
through my soles

old tire swing
red spot
on my cheek

over the fence
I hit
my first homerun

in his darkened bedroom
the girl lets loose
her ribbon

picnic lunch
on the quad
blowing dandelions

all the birds flew west,
and migrated right over
my car

getting coffee
the man who taught me music
taps my shoulder

dancing together
I watch in tears
across the room

frozen stillness
snap shot of life
a foggy lens

white lilies
she straightens
his collar

a shortcut
through the park

the golden field sways
whispering quietly
our untold secrets

heart shaped leaves
lay dead on the ground

through the open door . . .
her smile doesn't forgive
all my sins
