new blooms |
the changing tide; |
smelling of moths and dust |
making him smile |
summer storm |
late night |
athlete stuck in |
the pitter-patter |
moon belly |
higher and higher |
security camera |
from shaking earth |
sheltered by cornfields |
childhood movies |
beneath my toes |
my dad’s campfire stories |
no longer a blur |
I hear him whisper |
Flamingo Hotel |
breathing in his scent |
subway rush |
storm clouds |
tree trunk bark |
yelling “I know her!” |
you think you can fix it |
old oak tree |
ripples in the pond |
her heart |
babysitter asleep |
I whisper in his ear |
the icy babbling brook |
filthy roadside |
a scurrying mouse |
spring sun |
boisterous fishermen |
this wooden box |
homecoming |
heavy rain drops |
curses under my breath |
he makes my birthday special |
warm moonlit grass |
his name |
talking with the moon |
a twinkle in my eyes |
hot grass |
studying for the test |
his name |
we’re all grown up |
pulling away |
her sweet voice |
watching butterflies |
watching clouds |
I wish I could tell you… |
tears fall |
out back, in black |
