the pill bottle
rests
beside a cold hand

sick and tired
the emergency line rings

the honey-do list
under truck keys
one checked red

bouquet of red flowers
by her hospital bed

cold moon light—
tracing tear stains
on his cheek

A sigh of relief
for the struggling family

presents and parcels
appearing
on the doorstep

to profess his love

Fresh picked daisy—
Not as bright
as her smile

the office gossips

A meadow of daisies
