breezes sweeping
my hair about my face,
still autumn moon

last dance—
not wanting to let go
long after the music stops

night sounds—
two lovers snuggled closer
against the chill

Childhood pictures:
the lock of hair
that never did stay down

snow melting from his hair
      curled beside the fire
                  My snow angel

Tankini pieces scattered
on the dressing room floor—
Not this one either

ice and snow swirling about
yet he never minds—
the bronze man

sun beating
on my back—
the sprinkler’s hiss

the man from Germany –
watching his back
I see my father

after the fight—
rain pattering
on the porch steps
