Her 12 Link Renku:

Renku With Lidonna Beer

the child
             pumps once
while mom
             pushes
from behind

sitting down to dinner
snow clumps
tangled in my hair

train ride home
the couple we thought were lovers
don’t even kiss goodbye

jogging around the track
my shadow
ticks past me

breathing deeply
our chests do the wave
around the meditation circle

his hand
 meets
  hers
   on
  her stomach.
a kick!

snow covered street
the car veers left
veers right

Saturday night—
I grab my shoe
from his dog’s mouth
