Selected Haiku

My haiku to me, is a collection of my thoughts.

Some are fun ways to relieve stress, others are thoughts that never leave my mind.

Some are written for nothing more than image while others leave the reader to decide the fate of the situation and the characters in it.

A collaboration of emotion and poetic readiness comprise the haiku in this collection.

Please enjoy.

Under the tablecloth
Curly top child
Chocolate still on her face

Fifth margarita
barfly still buzzing
in my ear

friends gone
bottle of So. Co.
wants to chat

Mary Poppins
spoon full of sugar
I’m a diabetic

Nothing special
Him, popcorn, a movie
well…special to me.
