along my back
asleep in no time

confines me
to his black cloud

looking
into
Dad’s spectacled green eyes
I see myself

new
boyfriend
older brother
greets the door first

spring
rain gently falls
anticipation of what may come
first love blooms
|
|

freckle
on his lip
one crooked tooth
his smile feels perfect
|
hot
sugar milk
warming up
all of my insides
