Haiku Kukai 2

this is our time |
a huge dog bed |
gourmet noodles with a |
empty tissue box |
cold drink of water |
her peaceful voice |
struggling through |
when the stars |
initialing the paper |
morning coffee |
without a doubt |
locked myself out |
maybe tomorrow |
my mind says go eat well |
the car is packed |
he walks by me |
waking up |
a new swarm of fruit flies |
I can't remember my dad |
due at midnight |
perfect night |
he breaks away |
bike tires crunch gravel |
three kisses on the cheek |
delta |
alpha |
pi |
tasks adding up |
garden shenanigans |
trail mix |
hushed laughter |
battery of my computer |
my hand on his chest |
seventeen |
running running running |
legs propped |
parties around us |
nervous hands and |
group project |
I watched
|
last minute |
scary movie on |
a dad's shoulder |
scrounging for food |
smoke billows |
hermit crab |
i've been accepting |
I didn't give him my number |
twinkling lights |
young Love |
too poor |
peach shampoo |
grad school applications |
alone |
something stronger |
shopping together |
at a restaurant |
beautiful woman |
chipped paint |
through the maze |
under blankets |
tapping toes |
icy windows |
deep breaths |
dark sidewalk |
that crooked smile |
the moon light |
sometimes school life is rough |
happier without you |
