on halloween
bite size wrappers everywhere

walking past the marker
that holds him beneath
tears no longer stream

back in town
craving homemade candy
lot empty
|

her children at home
the woman sits alone
in the church pew
|
she can barely walk
but i don't want another
puppy
|

my favorite record

over and over

my keyboard
missing an
but sti using it

a candle's flame
flickers
wanting only more

tick tock
fixed again
grandpa's clock

pitch black
i fall
into the toilet

kite flying
the small boy
runs for the string |
