When
I started this class I thought I would hate it. After all,
I came in expecting to work on something completely different
but I found a fondness for haiku and even developed some skill
or at least according to those on my floor.

dreams
shattered
one last look
before I turn out the lights

Quiet!
roommate once again
asleep during the day
|
a
sword,
to a bowed head
stands a knight
|
|
|
dancing
fire
pops and snaps
luring me to sleep
|
only
one up
a sense of calm
fills the scene
