The Baby-Sitter Syndrome Love in the making I don't feel I follow your shadow Restraining order I write you poetry And I, your babysitter |
Hard Hearts cross hanging the cold ices another heart a dropped note— curiousity broken not a glance a gilded cross about her throat |
"Artificial Light" acid rain artificial light falls live girls! rippling words crack of dawn wise old owl |
Rengay: Vise-like grip, a hunting rifle first day I calmly check Funeral procession the folded flag |
Rengay with my Mom outside looking in his happiness no surprise party dead his actions hurt, denial drawn on his face |
It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Finals desk top christmas tree sweet sugary scents oil pooling in the rug the sprawled students shiver festive music chases Christmas calls with a sweet song |
black ice red snow gnarled tree cracked skin cold fire moonless night iron bed |

Elephant in the Room static on the radio we avoid the subject her hand grazes the subject is dead her phone rings a little white lie |
