The Air Changes
by
Colin Arrick
My haiku collection is called “The Air Changes” because as I was making my collection I noticed that the tone of the haiku went from light to a dark. |
on the radio
a familiar song
i singn until hoarse |
|
|
painted skulls
death tastes a little
too sweet to me
~ Día de los Muertos
|
impatients
none understand
it takes time |
|
|
flecks of gold
dance in hazel seas
a dark pool |
alone
humming a tune
merely dreaming |
