Though studying Musical Theatre here at Millikin University, I have always had a passion for creative writing as well as studying the English subject. English classes have always stayed prominent in my elective courses. This collection is compiled of all my favorite haiku I have written this semester is Global Haiku. These haiku showcase my love for themes centered around life experiences, relatability, and light heartness. “The Best of Brodsky” was simply the most fitting title... the best works of me! down the tile hallway
 

constellations above 
my favorite hoodie 
reeks of bonfire
 

runt of the 7
eyes barely open
immediate connection

chord progressions
the smell of lilac
distracts me

two cats of my own
old brown piano
quick trill across

dwindling bank account
spend $6 on a fun drink?
absolutely yes.

small cemetery
no walking path
are they missed?
