Beauty of Nature

by
Trevor Biggerstaff

The reason I have named this The beauty in nature is because most of these haiku have come from personal experiences that I have had and as a farmer who lives in a ruel area a lot of my experiences are in nature. I would say that most of these go into three categories from hunting, fishing and golfing.
From the start of writing haiku I had always related what I saw to things I had done in my life so I think this is why most of mine are personal experiences. Have fun reading my favorites.

pull of a fishing pole
unwinding reel
the splash of a fish

dawn breaks through limbs
a gobble breaks the silence
the safety     clicks off

a thumping tail
and small whimper
he just wants one bite

grandpa's word
like rain on a tin barn roof
everyone listens

my last first kiss
just one week later
it all falls apart

golf cart light
on the green
practice before sun up
