Winter Haiku

by
Jakob Henderson

This collection is based off the wintery, cold days everyone has when living in the mid west. For me personally, this time of year is the most tough for me physically and mentally. There's always those days where you just can't get yourself to feel 100%. In the winter, it feels those day are everyday. There is always a way for you to overcome those 50% days to higher percent, but it is very strongly based on the decisions you make to help yourself. When reading these haikus, each person should get a meaning that means something to them on a personal level instead of just trying to figure out the big picture. Think and evaluate. Each decision you make effects how you are. Make a decision to show you are you and no one else. As winters are untenable, people need to become solid and strong on where their head is.
