On the Pitch

by
Alanna Smith

From reading and writing haiku I have learn how three lines can say so much. I now analyze almost everything I read. It was quite fun writing those haikus. I liked how I didn’t have to completely explain how I feel or what I’m trying to say. That I can leave some parts up to the reader to analyze. Find a different point of view. I’m very happy I got the opportunity to take this class.

not too hot
not too cold
perfect day on the pitch

Disney World is fun
I can't help
missing him

running so fast
can't catch my breath
have to beat my goal

can't sit
in silence
without thinking
