Haiku is a moment in time captured, a memory frozen, and a never ending story. Haiku lets your imagination and reflection create the story. Haiku is an open-ended expression. Haiku allows the reader to also be creative. To me, haiku is now a creative tool for me to further explore.


chatter throughout the rooms
blowing noses, wiping tears
cancer


multiple colors
light up the sky
Poof! gone


old boxes
full of a year gone by
time to decorate

 


pinch of salt

Grandma's gumbo
