Memories
Selected Haiku

by
Mickey Hrvol

These haiku have come from my heart. I have thought of some very fond memories and written about them. Most of my inspiration comes from my children. I hope you enjoy my writings.

fresh from the garden
snapping beans
dirt on my fingers

sucking his thumb
bear in his arms
baby of the family

shoveling snow
with my son
owl in the woods

all in a pile
ready for battle
snowball fight

nine chairs
around the table
one empty
