Haiku

by
Craig Harshman

Included are my best haikus that I wrote during the class Global Haiku at Millikin University during the 2015 fall semester. These haiku are across a variety of topics and thoughts. Most of my time is currently spent attending my sons' activities. However, I do take a little bit of time to enjoy my passion of deer hunting, especially with a bow. I hope you get as much enjoyment in reading these haikus as I did writing them.

headlights shine on the frozen pond
the players ready for
midnight fun

bat, ball, glove
the little boy
with hopeful dreams

old compound bow
relic
shoots em straight

frosty morning
the deer senses danger
along the ridge

walking down the trail
getting close to the lake
a fish jumps
